Which one?

Hello Doc,

Please tell me which Doc does one go to when one has a phobia?
Psychiatrist or Psycologist or both. I have read here before that CBT councelling helps and what about meds for phobias?

Is there a connection between a having a phobia (eg not wanting to go outside of ones home ) and depression?

Either can help ; CBT can be dandy for a phobia, and some meds can also help. And phobias and depression quite often occur in the same person
