I put a garnishing order against my ex's salary as he was always paying late. they did not tell him and as a result he has paid me double for 2 months. the first double payment i kept as he had refused to pay half of our son's expenses eg. stationery, medical bills, etc. i have the 2nd half still but he has not paid his half of our sons medical bills again (its a monthly expense as our son is adhd). he is now demanding all the money back and saying i have no right to put a garnishing order against his salary as he has 7 days grace after the court order date. he is making all kinds of threats. i have told him i will deduct this months medical and deposit the difference. can anyone help with this? i am unclear as to what his rights are. i did not use one cent of that money for myself and i have all the slips to prove expenditure.
