Dear Concerned
You are correct that your present BMI = 34.6 which is in the obese range. To get back into the normal range with a BMI of 25 you would need to weigh 59 kg, thus a loss of 23 kg which is a great deal of weight to have to lose. First aim to get to a BMI of 30 (weight 71 kg, thus a loss of 11 kg) and then aim for the next goal of 59 kg. Exercise is one of the very best things anyone can do, but just doing exercise on its own is not sufficient to cause a loss of 23 kg. You also need to use an energy-reduced, low-fat, balanced diet (click on 'Diet' at the top of this page, 'Weight loss', ‘Balanced diet’ and then on 'Slimming Diet' for a copy of such a diet)to help your body shed the weight.
Take things one week and 1 kg at a time and persist and you will get to your target weight.
Best regards
