Wetting with laughter

My 12 year-old-daughter experiences some wetting when she laughs. This is causing her some distress and I would like to know is it as a result of her developing or can it be an indication of a more serious problem. She started going into puberty from 10 years of age and this problem has manifested itself at about the same time.

I would suggest that you take her to see a doctor. Bedwetting is more common. The problem you describe sounds like stress incontinence and should be assessed.

Best wishes
