Wet hat in the sun

Is wetting your hat and being in the sun dangerous?

It is not dangerous, as we loose at least 60% of heat through our scalp. Wetting the hat will cause better heat loss/heat exchange. It will therefore, keep you cooler in the hot sun during the day.
