Can i lose weight just from eating the right food and not exercising?

Yes you can lose weight by just reducing your food, fat and energy intakes, but it will possibly take longer than if you also add exercise to the equation. Try to find an exercise that you enjoy doing (like going for walks, or skipping or swimming or cycling or modern dancing, etc, etc - anything to get active) and do 30 min a day to simulate your metabolism.
