Dear Angel
Dried fruit has a much higher energy content than fresh fruit because it much more concentrated due to removal of water. Raisins are thus a concentrated food with a relatively high energy content of 1253 kJ per 100g (or 14,9% of the daily energy intake of an adult woman who is not trying to lose weight). You can use them as one of the snack foods recommended to boost your energy intake.
Hope you are now gaining some weight.
