I agree, it''s not the rings that bind, but, I do like to show the world that I " belong"  to someone, and I am proud of what it symbolises and so I never take mine off and neither does my hubby.

I do not think it''s deceiving actually. It''s not the rings that bind the two of you in a marriage.
I dont wear mine, but my husband does his, because thats our personal choice. I dont like rings on my fingers.
I dont intend on deceiving anyone either.

We got tattoos. I also wear my ring, but hubby''s occupation makes it a health hazzard - thus the tattoos. :-)

I''ve never been on any other forum than MT. My wife and I both work with machines and chemicals. It''s very dangerous to wear jewelry and rings around machines, when a ring gets caught in a revolving tool it rips your finger clean off. Neither of us wear any form of jewelery for this reason.

It is wrong not to wear rings as it is deceiving to other people who are still looking.
