weak bladder control

Hi there,
My 14 year old daughter has very weak bladder control. She has always struggled with this. When she laughs, even if only a little, she doesn''t make it to the loo. A health professional said a while ago she might have a bladder infection, although there are no other symptoms. Could this be correct? Should I take her to a urologist?
Many thanks,
Sue

I doubt that she has a chronic bladder infection but I do suggest that you consult an urologist.
