Water retention on warm days

Whenever it is very hot, I battle to urinate, even though I constantly drink water. I feel that I may be retaining water. My mother has been using Aldoretic for water retention for about 25 years. Does this mean I too may require something like Aldoretic to ease my water retention?

You will have to consult your doctor before using a diuretic. I suggest that your doctor tests your kidney function to exclude any kidney pathology, as well as heart pathology. Once this has been excluded, a diuretic can be considered.
