Hi Pat, this is such a good game for most dogs, they love it and chasing the water can really help to tire them out! The easiest way, without training, is to use distration. Get hold of a nice big Ox femur from your butcher, or local supermarket (one for each dog) and supply this to your dogs when you are watering. It will keep them busy and will distract them. Alternatively, put them in a seperate section of the garden and you can give them the bones here. Pop the bones back in the fridge when you have finished watering and only let the dogs have them when you water.Make sure they are receiving enough stimulation by ways of regular outings and what ever you do, dont scream and shout at them while they are chasing. All this does is get the dog additional attention. Remember that to a dog attention is attention whether negative or positive! Happy watering and do let me know how it works out, thanks Scotty
