You can drink tea, rooibos tea, coffee, milk, diluted fruit juice, artificially sweetened cold drinks and soda water instead of tap water if you find that latter difficult to drink. The recommendation to drink 2,5 litres of liquid a day applies in all cases, not only to individuals wanting to lose weight. Excessive water intake (e.g. having 8 glasses of water IN ADDITION to all your other beverages) can also be harmful.
