Water

Dear Doc, why is it that when I drink water, I develop heart burn? I do not drink water regularly, as I should, but when I do, I develop heart burn. Is this common and what can a person do about this?

You may have a bit of acid reflux which you don't notice when drinking other fluids like coffee or tea because milk is anti-acid. You can use an anti-acid when this happens if it is only when you drink water(like Rennies)
