Veins in cheeks

Hi Dr Bets.
I am getting small red veins in my cheeks. I am a smoker and am concerned that this is due to oxygen levels in my skin. Is there a cure for this. Is there a skin thickening agent?

Dear worried
The only cure is to remove this with laser - it is caused by sun, increasing age, hormonal changes, injury or can be hereditary.

Hi Doc.
So the veins has nothing to do with smoking?
How often can I remove these veins with laser?
Will this not cause problems later?
