Vaginal Granuloma

Last year I had a TVH after cyn3 cells were discovered on cervix. Since then I''ve been experiencing pain and bleeding during intercourse. My doctor diagnosed vaginal granuloma. This needs to be removed surgically. Could it be related to the reason for last year''s TVH? What would cause it and should I be worried?

A granuloma is scar tissue from the surgery.
