Using elliptical trainer

Hi
I' m a female in my 20' s, and I usually use the elliptical trainer at the gym, but I' m just worried that the repetitive motion will end up doing damage to my joints. Is this possible?
Also, is this type of activity good for strengthening bone since it' s low impact?
Thank you.

Dear KV
Try and do some other exercise as well and also do some more weightbearing like walking on a hard surface. Repetitive exercise can be bad for your joints, but your body will tell you whether the exercise is bad.
