unresolved bladder infection

A while back i posted that my boyfriend''s bladder infection was just not clearing up despite antibiotics and the reply was to check the prostate because there could be infection there. All the blood tests came back clear.yet he is still battling with burning urine and having to urinate all the time.
What advice could you give us?He has no discharges or anything else like that.Any ideas as to what this could be?According to the tests there is no bladder or prostate infection.
