Dear Bag

If you have an under active thyroid then this may cause you not to ovulate and may result in a fertility problem. If however you have fallen pregnant and your thyroid hormone levels are low, this can impact on the pregnancy itself as well. It is important that prior to starting any fertility treatment or prior to planning a pregnancy your under active thyroid should be treated and a normal thyroid function should be achieved.
