Under active thyroid

Doc, I have been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and been given thyroxine. How long before I start feeling better?

It can take a while - give it at least 6 weeks before you will see a difference and up to 3 months before you are stabilized on your medication.

Hi. I am not a doctor but I have a thyroid issue aswell. I am on Eltroxin though. It does take time to work. I have been told up to 6 weeks.
