Dear Sarah
Although I am not really in favour of shakes because they are often unbalanced (containing too little energy or too much protein or vitamins and minerals), some people seem to find that they can lose weight when using them. If you are going to use a meal replacement shake to lose weight then each shake serving should at least provide close to 1/3 of the recommended energy intake of an adult woman who is trying to lose weight, thus 1/3 of 1500 kcal = 500 kcal. The value of 190 kcal is therefore far too low to sustain you if you intend going about your normal life, much less doing exercise, etc. You may well develop cravings, suffer from dizziness, etc if you use the shakes and this can counteract your attempts to stick to your weightloss regimen. You will have to try the Ultra Slim shakes to see what effect they have on you and if they can assist with sustained weightloss.
