UAE

question...would be advisable to take a "  general"  antibiotic with for a baby? my child is prone to respatory tract infections and gastro when teething and he gets very sick very quickly. we are currently waiting for the molars and the eye teeth to make their appearance and know that these, especially, can cause children to get quite sick. and this might happen precisely in the time that we will be in the UAE.

Dear Roline,

As the other repondent said medicines are generally freely available and generally cheaper than in RSA. However it would make sence to get a General Antibiotic from your infant''s GP/Paed with guidelines when to commence should a fever develop.

Pete
