Type 1 Diabetic

I have been a type 1 diabetic for 11 years, married for 3 &  we are planning to extend the family. I am however very concerned about being pregnant &  diabetic &  also weather my insulin (Lantis &  Apridra) is save to use.

Do you have any tips or advise?

Hallo Izanne
Insulin is 100% safe to use. One should monitor your blood sugar carefully during pregnancy but there is no reason why you can't have a normal healthy pregnancy. see also
