Our expert says:
The type of body build you inherited from your ancestors does play a role. Individuals who are so-called ectomorphs (with a high muscle tissue%) will build a six pack more easily and successfully than someone who genetically is an endomorph (fat tissue dominates). So take a look at your family - if most of the members are not muscular, then you will probably take longer and have to work harder than someone who has a lot of muscular relatives. However, if you a are eating a sensible diet and do your exercise every day then you will eventually achieve that six pack, but it may take a long time.
