Traveling in Namibia

We are traveling to Namibia in July, going all the way up to the Angola border. With all the rain they had this year what will be best to take along for water purifing, malaria prevention and first Aid in general?

There is safe tap water and bottled water available all the way through Namibia.
Remember to always prevent getting bitten, not only by mosquitoes - that is the first line of defence. Malaria prophylaxis might be advisable when you are close to the Angolan border, especially when camping.
