Our expert says:
The so-called 'female fat depots' which are on the breasts, buttocks and hips can pose a considerable problem and are particularly difficult to shift. Genetics also plays a role and you may have female relatives with a similar build. Targeted exercises like thigh rolls and 'walking' backwards and forwards by moving your buttocks may help (ask Fitness Doc for exercises to target these problem areas). This may take time, so be patient and persevere. The only other solutions are liposuction and/or plastic surgery. If you cannot reduce your thighs and hips by doing exercises, then discuss the pros and cons of liposuction and plastic surgery with a plastic surgeon.
