tonsilloliths

i get tonsiloliths quite often I think due to the fact that I have a chronic post nasal drip (which is being treated) However today when one of them came out, there was a very hard black bit in the centre, almost as hard as agrain of sand and almost the same size maybe a but bigger. This has never happened before. What could it have been and what could the cause be?

Hallo ?
This could be a calcified tonsilith and the colour could be due to bacterial infection.
