Tonsillitis

Hi. During the past 8 months I''ve had tonsillitis/pharyngitis 5 times already. Is it advisable to have them removed now? I am a 33 year old female.

Dear Astrid

It would be advisable. I suggest you see an ENT surgeon to discuss the need for the surgery, as you would require an examination and discussion to assess the need for the surgery. You seem to qualify on the basis of recurrent tonsillitis.
