A combination of cardio and weight work is best. The 'man boobs' thing is mostly an accumulation of fat tissue, and all the weight training in the world won't help it unless there is also some cardio to burn fat. What you therefore need is four or five days a week of cardio training which consists of things like running or cycling or walking or rowing, and a couple days a week where you do some weight training. These include pushups, bench press, pec flys, cable flys, and also the shoulder press. I'd say do three sets of each exercise, 12 reps per set. But it is really the cardio that is more important.
