TONGUE

My 9 month old seems to have something that is disturbing him in his mouth. He eats well, the tongoe looks clean and he is not crying but his tongue is lying out carelessly and there are no signs of mouth ulcers. What could be the issue???

Hallo Phumeza
A protruding tongue could be a sign of thyroid disease, vit 12 malabsorbtion, or developmental delay due mental retardation. I think you should rather take your baby to a pediatrician for a thorough checkup.
