Toenail Removal (After Surgery)

Dear Dr,

I had my toenails removed (and the nailbed burned) about two weeks ago. There are still stitches in, but they''ll be taken out on Thursday. Would I be able to wear shoes / walk normally by the weekend?

I have no pain at all and I can already walk fine.

I''m just curious because I might have something on this weekend and I *really* don''t want to cancel it.

Thanks!
A

Hi A
If the nailbed is not raw and tender, I am sure you can wear comfortable shoes and just cover the toe with paraffin gauze and a plaster to prevent chafing.
