Toenail fungal infection

Hi Doc, I''ve got a fungal infection on my toe nail. I''ve tried tee tree oil and natural medicine, for the past few months, and no improvement. What else can I use (over the counter medicine) or must I go to my GP for an antibiotic?

You will have to consult your GP for an examination and nail clipping analysis, to confirm a fungal infection. Your doctor will prescribe an oral anti-fungal. A fungal infection of the toenails are difficult to treat and can take up to six months to clear.
