Question
Posted by: BP went up to 213 bpm...?? | 2010-05-11

Tina

I''''m 26 years old and relatively healthy.
My second episode occurred at about 16h00, I was making coffee and all of a sudden my heart started palpitating so fast that I could see it moving in my chest. I slowly walked to sit down and take deep breaths. My hubby put my heart rate monitor on, around my chest and the watch measured 213bpm! OMW... that made me a little anxious. It lasted about 15 minutes. I have experienced this once before. Is it something to be concerned about? I did a ECG after the first episode and it appeared normal, so they said. My brother had a heart murmur and grandfather now wears a pacemaker... How can I check my heart health?
