Tick bite fever

38 weeks pregnant, diagnosed with Tick bite fever. Effects on baby? Started Erythromycin 500mg BD.

A high fever can affect the baby, so it is very important to keep it down with Panado and sponging. The tick bite itself wll not harm the baby.

my wife is 18weeks pregnant with the fever, is there any recommended topical treatment for the eschars that might help?
