Thyroid/Eltroxin: how long before I feel a difference?

Hi there doctor
I''ve been diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 2 weeks ago. I''ve taken Elxtroxin 100mg since. How long should it take before I start feeling better? I''m extremely tired. Also, I have about 10 symptoms of hypothyroidism, but the blood test showed my thyroid hormone levels to be just a bit below normal. Is this possible? Or could there be some other cause?
Thanks, Sue
