Thyroid?

Hi Doctor. I have had what I researched to be all the symptoms of an
under active thyroid - difficulty losing weight, irritabilty, hair thinning,
constant tiredness etc. My gp did a thyroid blood test (tsh4 if i''m
not mistaken) and said it is normal.
Now I''m baffled. DO i go for a second opinion? What else could this be?

Hallo Desperate
There are other conditions that may have the same symptoms like polycystic ovarian syndrome, over active adrenal glands or abnormal esterogen levels. Ask your doctor to try and find the cause by looking at other possible diseases too.
