what is the diff between under active thyroid and over active thyroid and hypothyroidism ?

Underactive thyroid means you are making too little thyroid hormone ( also called hypo thyroidism) with symptoms like Fatigue, Depression, Modest weight gain, Cold intolerance, Excessive sleepiness, Dry, coarse hair,
Constipation, Dry skin, Muscle cramps, Increased cholesterol levels and Decreased concentration. Overactive thyroid means you are making too much thyroid hormone ( hyperthyroidism)with symptoms like weight loss , anxiety, intolerance to heat, fatigue, hair loss, weakness, hyperactivity, irritability, apathy, depression, heart palpitations, tremor and sweating.

The diffrence would be that with hyperthyriodism you would need an antogonist and for hypothyriodism you would need the replacement ...

Hypo means low and hyper is the antonym.So over active is hyperthyroidism and hypothyriodism is under active.
