Thrush - 6 yr old

My granddaughter, when she was a month old had thrush, given medication by the doctor but it occurs time and again, what should she use and will it ever end?

Hallo Stella
She can use Daktarin oral gel or Mycostatin liquid. Trush usually happens when your immunity is low but chronic thrush can also be a sign of diabetes or HIV in some patients.
If she gets more than 3 thrush episodes per year I think she should see a pediatrician for further tests.
