Throat

Dear Doc. For a couple of months now I have found that whenever I eat something and swallow it feels like the food is not going down smoothly, it feels as if my throat is not big enough. Also I have found that my stomach burns a lot? Any suggestions? Thanx

Hallo Megan
Please ask your doctor to refer you for a gastroscopy. Acid pushing back into the esophagus can cause scar tissue with narrowing of the esophagus and difficulty swallowing.
