The blood in your phlem can be caused by infection of your sinussess or your chest (due to bronchitis). I recommend that you consult your GP to have a x-ray of your chest and sinusses done, to exclude infection. A sputum MC&S (analysis of sputum) will also have to be done to exclude tuberculosis.
