the slimming diet

Hi Doc, :)
I am planning to follow the Slimming diet and i would like to know on an average how kilos i''ll be losing in a week? i walk 3-4 times a week for an hour and do an 45 min workout 4-5 times a week. i admit that i havent been eating properly lately and i want to change that. i love fruit and vegetable, but sometimes a diet can become very exspensive and which i cant afford :(
regards
sash.

Dear Sashta
You are a ***star*** for doing so much exercise. The exercise will already be promoting weightloss, firming and improving fitness. If you use the balanced slimming diet on the Diet section of Health24 you should lose between 0,5 and 1 kg per week. Slow and steady gives better long-term results. A slimming diet need not be expensive. Buy fruits and vegetables in season which cost much less than out of season varieties (the latter may even be imported from other countries and be very expensive). Shop around for reasonably priced wholewheat bread and high-fibre cereals (certain brands are much less expensive than others) and cut all visible fat off meat and chicken (remove the skin). You will be eating relatively small portions of meat, and fish, so this also reduces the cost. Compare the prices of the foods you buy to obtain the best bargains for your diet.
Good luck with the slimming and keep up the good work with the exercise.
Best regards
