Those last few kgs are sometimes the most difficult to lose because the human body resists changes, so you need to stick to your diet and exercise until you have lost those final 3 kgs. According to the SA Food Tables, bananas provide 384 kJ per 100g and large bananas weigh 100g. Therefore 2 of these large bananas could provide 768 kJ which represents 12,2% of your daily energy intake if you are using a 6300 kJ/day slimming diet. Unless you are cutting out some of this energy somewhere else in your diet, those 2 large bananas may well be hampering your attempt to lose the last 3 kg of weight. Try cutting down to 1 banana a day for a few weeks and see if this does not help.
