Tendonitis

Hi, I have what I suspect to be tendonitis in both knees but especially in the left knee. The pain is in the inner lower knee area , especially when twisting it a certain way, my hamstrings also feel very tight and sore. It started after doing a 3 month hatha yoga course and then 5 days of constant walking and climbing up and down the skywalk stairs in bangkok wearing flip flops. Should I continue with the yoga and do lots of stretching exercises, or should I rest completely till the pain goes away? Thanks!
