teeth grinding

Good day

Dear Doc my 2 half month old grinds his teeth during the night, i suspect that he does this when he is feeling uncomfortable or in some kind of pain.Could this be true.or what else could it be? He Grinds them very heavly its very disturbing if not heartbreaking.

It is actually not caused by pain or discomfort but can be a sign of underlying anxiety in some kids. Many however, just do it without any specific cause or reason. Folklore often says that it is caused by worms or low iron - but this is not proved.

If you think it may be due to anxiety, you can maybe try something like Rescue remedy 10 drops diluted in water before bedtime.
