I agree with Bongi - a boardin school could be a good idea ( so long as she isn't thinking that it'd be easier to run away from there and stay undiscovered thereafter ). The social worker o counsellor needs to rapidly work with her to clarify why she is not doing well ( is the work too difficult for her, or she she for any of many reasons failing to study properly, etc. ) in short - its important to understand what it is she is not cop[ing with, so that she can be helped to learn to cope. Running away, what was she running away FROM ( or, indeed, what was she running away TO ) ?
