teddy bear hamster

hi a few questions
Have a teddybear hamster that bought at reputable pet store but he/she has a gluey eye which it seems to clean itself should I worry about it
2)recently it has developed a sort of red crust around the anus - does not look like its bleedeng when passing stool as when in ball it passes lots of firm dark brow.grey stool could you please assist
it eats well- both the hamter crisp and freshfruit & veg & peanuts
is there anything i should add or remove from diet?
also any suggestions for the eye would be appreciated

If only one eye is affected a visit to your vet may be appropriate, it may be an ulcer. Not sure about the crust around the anus?
