Hallo Athol
If she is on TB medication and drinking it faithfully, she is not infective after a week or two on medication and can keep on working health permitting. Ensure that she regularly goes for her check ups and refill of prescriptions. If possible, monitor that she is taking her medication daily for the required 4-6 months. It may be necessary to have the family tested for TB if you had close contact for a period of time just to be safe (Quantiferon TB gold test). If any of you tests positive for latent TB you may have to use preventative medication for 6 months.
