TB

Hi, a colleague of mine has just tested positive for TB. They have said it is in her stomach and not in her lungs - I have read that it is only contagious if it is in the lungs. I was wondering what my risk was and whether I should be tested. I am close contact with her all day. If I should be tested, who does this test - my GP?
Thanks

Dear Sam
It will not do harm to get tested - your GP can do this. I would suggest a Lung x/ray and PCR TB test
