can dizziness have a psychiatric cause? (the person isn''t on any medication)

It can have at least 100 different causes, including psychiatric causes, such as anxiety. And of course if one gets ancious about being dizzy, that amplifies it. See a good GP for a checkup to clarify the cause, and discuss treatment options
