taking the pill will it affect breastfeeding

Hi my wife recently gave birth 2months ago. she received the birth control injection. for how long will this injection last....prevent her from falling pregnant?

we made love without protection.

can we use the morning after pill and by using it will it affect her breastfeeding?

will it affect the baby?

Your wife should not have been given the injection. This will lower her milk supply.

You can use microval pill whike breastfeeding, but not other pills.

If you aren''t planning to fall pregnant in the next 18 months then the mirena might be a good idea. It costs as lot - abut the same as being on the pill for 18 months.
