Swollen Arm

My arm is swollen near the wrist, what could it be?
I have taken anti inflamatries but that has not helped and i have put a hot water bottle but nothing.

It could be an infection or a blood clot in one of the veins or arteries. If self treatment does not help you may have to see a doctor to determine if you need sonar/MR or x/ray of the arm
